John and his off-sider have done a high cut of the meadow areas. The results look more like a No 2 buzz cut to me, but as with all severe haircuts, we can console ourselves that it will grow back, for sure, and in no time at all.
The oleanders and gaura have been severely stressed (perhaps even killed) by the frost in late winter. Let's hope the root stock is still viable...
